Melanie
Small comes to us with an extensive background in sales
and marketing with an emphasis on providing the highest level of
customer satisfaction. She has worked in the automobile industry
in a variety of capacities, all of them focusing on customer
service, follow up, and most importantly the desire to maintain
the highest level of customer satisfaction. Melanie has always
made sure that her ethics and desire to bring a positive
experience to what may sometimes may have been a negative
transaction transcends, from automobiles to homes. It is her
continued belief that old fashioned customer service is what
makes the difference. Her background also enables her to
understand and assist in many of the financial aspects of a
transaction as well as skilled contract negotiation.
Growing up in Upstate New York,
Melanie brings with her a touch of the north, with a love of the
south. After graduating from high school Melanie spread her
wings and flew west to Arizona, attending Arizona State
University, and lived for another twenty plus years. Having
been offered a job opportunity in Houston, ten years ago Melanie
moved to the Lone Star State. Almost instantly she met her
husband Bill Small and the rest, as they say is history. Bill
has been a member of Walden nearly since it’s inception….with
Bill’s tremendous love of the Lake Conroe area, his enthusiasm
rubbed off on Mel. She is proud to say that she is no longer a
“weekender” but a full timer. Mel has many hobbies, working on
her golf swing, knitting, movies, reading, trying an array of
different and fun restaurants, visiting her darling daughter in
Washington, D.C., as well as a love of cooking.
One of her many assets is that
she has trained managers and sales staff on the importance of
follow up, customer satisfaction, product knowledge and
providing the highest level of service that is necessary to have
a successful transaction and happy client.
