My husband, Mark Leopold, and I are the owners of UnforgettableLakeConroe.com. We have been amazed at the lifestyle we enjoy since moving to Montgomery county.

From Dallas to Lake Conroe

We were ready for a change after owning our own real estate company in the Dallas area for over 17 years. When the opportunity arose to sell our company, we knew we wanted to move to Lake Conroe to be closer to our family ... especially our two year old grandson, Bo. The big surprise to us however, was not only was it wonderful to be so close to family, we absolutely loved our new home.

We did not realize what a different lifestyle the lake offered. We gave up traffic and rush hour for towering pine trees and the calming tranquility of beautiful Lake Conroe. Our friends expected us to miss Dallas, but our response was that we only wished we had made the move sooner!

The vibrancy of the real estate market here on Lake Conroe is evident by all the construction in the area. With our experience in real estate, it was not long before we realized the opportunity knocking on our door. We met many neighbors who moved here from not only Houston, but other states as well. Our wonderful warm winters and the natural beauty of the area continue to be a huge draw.

Why the Name UnforgettableLakeConroe.com?

The name of our company is a nod to the past while looking forward to the future. “Unforgettable” by Natalie Cole is our song. We gave that name to the boat we enjoyed on Lake Texoma (north of Dallas) for several years. While we are traditional in many ways, we realize the future in real estate is very linked to the internet. That is the reason we decided to incorporate “.com” into our name.

Our vision for UnforgettableLakeConroe.com is to be a vibrant part of the growth of the Lake Conroe area. We are a boutique firm with customer service as our first priority. Our customers are both local and international. Our marketing efforts reflect that.

Lake Conroe is home to many established neighborhoods like Walden, La Torretta Del Lago and April Sound. The area is also seeing new construction in Water Oak, The French Quarter, and Grand Harbour. Lake Conroe real estate offers housing from affordable homes to luxurious estates. Both can be found either in one of our many golf course home communities, or overlooking the waters of our beautiful lake from waterfront homes. For the security conscious, many of these are gated communities.
