What's So Great About Lake Conroe?
Lake Conroe is one hour north of Houston. The beautiful waters stretch 21 miles in length and cover over 21,000 surface acres. Lake Conroe supplies the water for the city of Houston and is a recreation hub for boating, fishing, hunting, golfing and numerous other sports. Luxury accommodations from hotels to condominiums are available as well as RV parks and waterfront boat storage. Shopping abounds with local boutiques and many national chains making up the local economy.
A very mild winter climate makes Lake Conroe a true year-round destination. Many restaurants from family style to fine dining are available.
